About this project
Plain gray concrete was the weak point of an otherwise handsome stone-front home. The walkway and porch were cleaned, prepped, and stained in a warm terracotta tone that picks up the stone and landscape around it. Turning the approach to the front door into part of the home's character.
The challenge
Exterior concrete has to be genuinely clean and properly prepped for stain to bond evenly. And the finish has to handle weather and foot traffic.
