Century Home Porch Revival
A 1900s home's front porch brought back to life. Worn gray steps and deck transformed with a deep navy floor, crisp white risers and railings, and a front door refreshed from chipped mint to a fresh, confident pink.

About this project
This century home (the porch sign says 1900) had good bones and a hundred years of wear: faded, worn deck boards and steps, a weathered beadboard ceiling, and a chipped front door. The porch was prepped and repainted in a deep navy with bright white risers, railings, and posts. And the front door refinished in a pink that suits the home's character. The result gives the whole entry the confidence the house deserved.
The challenge
Century-old surfaces need honest prep, old finishes, weathered wood, and layers of history, before new paint can do its job.
